Level 3 Basic Life Support - 2.5/3/4 Hour Courses
These Basic Life Support courses will give learners the skills and knowledge to act in an emergency situation providing the casualty with critical life-saving assistance until support arrives.
We have four Level 3 Basic Life Support courses available as below:
- Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support and Automated External Defibrillation (RQF)
- Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support and Automated External Defibrillation for Adults, Children and Infants (RQF)
- Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support, Automated External Defibrillation and Anaphylaxis (RQF)
- Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support, Automated External Defibrillation and Anaphylaxis for Adults, Children and Infants (RQF)
The courses range from 2.5 hours to 4 hours.
These Basic Life support courses are suitable for anyone looking to gain basic first aid knowledge and skills for adults, children and infants including the use of an AED and the management of anaphylaxis.
Certification
A three year Level 3 certificate in Basic Life Support will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment. To renew the qualification, learners will need to retake the full course. However, it is recommended that during the 3-year period, the learners attend annual refresher courses.
Numbers
A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 14 years of age.
